Back From The Dead

Just when you thought this blog had died..... BAM!... it's back. Rachael has informed me that I should get off my lazy bum and update everyone on Everleigh and what all we as a family have been up too. I generally heed her advice, so here we are.

A lot has happened since the last blog at four months old. There is too much to post so I will just update everyone on what has happened recently. Everleigh just turned 13 months old. Last month we had a birthday party for her. She seemed to really enjoy herself. She liked all of the attention and enjoyed everyone coming to see her. She liked all of her presents and played with all of them. She especially liked the clothes she got. (this scares me) She held on to one particular outfit the whole time she unwrapped gifts and would hold it up every so often and say "ooooo". Thank you to everyone who came. Everleigh enjoys the chair from Grampa and Grammie. She

watches Baby Einstein and takes her afternoon tea in it.



One of our favorite past times this summer has been swimming. We bought a plastic pool to put in the backyard in order for Everleigh to get accustomed to the water. It wasn't long before we made a trip to the community pool. Everleigh loves splashing around and watching the other kids play. She likes to talk and squeal at them. She invited cousin Finley over to swim with her. They had a blast.
